Renewable Cities Heads to Germany for the Kassel International Dialogue on 100% Renewable Energy

Kassel-tram-Flickr-kaffeeeinsteinBuilding on the success of the Global Learning Forum, Renewable Cities is heading to Germany, the heart of the energy transition, this November to carry on our international work.

Through a partnership with the German Ministry of Environment (UBA), deENetWorld Future Council, and Global 100%RE campaign, we will be co-hosting an international dialogue in Kassel that will focus on designing a set of indicators that standardize what it means for cities to be powered by 100% renewable energy.

It is also an opportunity to provide feedback on the current iteration of the indicators and experiment with applying them. The dialogue is targeted to city staff from global cities that want to implement ambitious renewable energy and energy efficiency targets.

Our component represents the international component of a larger conference on 100% renewable energy regions in Germany.

For more information and to register for the November 10-11 event, visit the International Dialogue on 100% Renewable Energy website. View the event flyer here.
