Jaida Regan is the Communications Coordinator for Renewable Cities at SFU’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue.
Jaida supports the development and delivery of communications for Renewable Cities to advance discourse, policy, and practice on urban land use, carbon management, affordability, and sustainability. Her work experience in tech, non-profits, academia, and arts and culture provides her with a robust understanding of urban communities. She enjoys bringing words to life with her passion for social change and knack for writing content that inspires action.
Jaida is passionate about creating welcoming, inclusive experiences – the more creative, the better. Jaida holds a Masters of Arts in Geography from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environment, Sustainability & Society with a minor in German from Dalhousie University. When she is not busy learning French and German virtually, she is out appreciating the Pacific Ocean.
Her favourite urban journey is walking along the seawall and taking the ferry to Granville Island to get her weekly groceries.
