Andrea Hedley is the Communications Specialist for the Renewable Cities program at the SFU Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue.
Andrea brings expertise in engagement practices that facilitate social mobilization for climate action to her work at Renewable Cities. She’s passionate about the potential for networks, dialogue, and collaboration to drive rapid progress toward low carbon communities.
As the Communications Specialist, Andrea manages communications, engagement and outreach activities for Renewable Cities, providing our international and local network of policy-makers, practitioners, and thought-leaders with resources for innovation in the urban energy transition.
Andrea’s background is in community planning, supporting local and regional governments to create environmentally sustainable communities. She has several years of experience in project management, policy analysis, and facilitating multi-stakeholder and public engagement processes.
Andrea has an MA in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia.
